Creative identity and communications design for the Metropolitan Police Smarter Working change programme. Smarter Working is Adopting new ways of working through modernised workspaces, processes and technologies.

Brand Identity

I created a set of brand bars to use alongside a vibrant and bold colour pallet to help the Smarter Working communications stand out alongside regular Met materials in a positive and energetic way.

Icon Design

I adopted a colourful, clean and familiar style to help the icons standout and quickly add context to content. A grid was used to size and align elements to ensure they all felt part of a set.


I drew illustrations in a bright and friendly style to help the communications feel more approachable. All characters are coloured in Met blue to emphasise they are part of the Met organisation.

Communications Design

A number of print and digital guides were produced to help with the new ways of working. I used clean and spacious layouts to help the communications feel easy to digest and understand.
